hmm I think you need to show us some more of you in super suits before we can agree with the point you're making. If you could jump up and down a bit to test the suits, maybe do some yoga in it. Then I think we could really agree with the point you're trying to make.

Cavills' suit was pretty cool for the most part. I agree that it was too dark. But my biggest problem with it were those stupid black designs at the sides of his midsection. Tyler Hoechlin's suit in Clark and Lois is like a much cooler version of the Cavill suit, although it's also too dark.

I gotta agree. The underwear on the outside look is really dated. Cavill's suit looks better imo because of that. Also, Marvel changed Wolverine's "classic" costume to get rid of the black underwear on the outside in Deadpool & Wolverine. I haven't seen anyone crap on the costume from that movie, and a big part of what makes it look good is NOT having that dated look.

The origin of wearing underwear on the outside. In the 1930's, the most popular athletes were the professional wrestlers. The first comic book superheroes were modeled after professional wrestlers who all wore underwear on the outside. It is not really underwear, not sure exactly what it is called, but wrestlers, acrobats, and trapeze artists all dressed like that, and they were the inspiration for comic book characters.

FWIW: At one time I WAS planning on seeing *BLACK ADAM* just for that post credit scene with _Henry Cavill_ as SUPERMAN. THEN I found out _Cavill_ was out of the role and I NOPED out of seeing the film. I still have not seen *BLACK ADAM,* and I have no plans to do so in the future.

Christopher Reeves and Henry Cavill both suited the times they grew up in...Reeves Superman tackled nuclear war and pollution while Cavill tackled the fear of urban terrorism. What will this latest iteration tackle...a lack of gender free restrooms?

I'm excited for the film. At least optimistic. But it's not just Superman. I'm SUPER curious how Nathan Fillian will do as Lantern, and how he'll look. He's actually the one character I'm most looking forward to.
